The Village of Shorewood is seeking tree removal quotes for its 2026 Ash Removal Program. The Village has allocated funding for the removal of 30 select ash trees as part of ongoing efforts to manage the effects of Emerald Ash Borer. The project in its entirety will be awarded to a single contractor only. If the quotes obtained exceed the available budget, the Village may elect to reduce the number of trees removed.
All work must be performed between the hours of 7AM and 6PM, Monday through Friday unless prior approval is given. Contractors are asked to provide a total project price to complete work including tree removal, disposal, cleanup, stump grinding, and site restoration. Total project quotes may include an approximate cost per inch DBH for the purpose of estimating the cost to reduce project scope if needed. All work is to be completed before September 14, 2026.
